Lost in Prison
Nijmegen 20 Feb, 2010
In the spring of 2009, Caramundo coordinator and photographer Marloes Verhoeven went to El Salvador to give a photography workshop with youth of our local partner Quetzalcoatl. Quetzalcoatl also initiated an artistic project in the Sesuntepeque female prison in San Salvador. Marloes soon was accepted in the cells of the women and had very opening conversations with the women. In her impressive black and white photos she includes us in day to day life in prison.
The pictures are for sale. The money raised with the sales will be used to continue the program in prison.
