R.U.A. – Festival Reflexo on Urban Art
In addition to the celebration of “Brazil Rotterdam” in the summer of 2009, in which the main museums of the city exhibited Brazilian Contemporary Art, Caramundo stated that Brazilian contemporary art at its best, is taking place in the streets of big cities such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Brasilia. An exhibition of contemporary art isn’t complete if not represented in the streets. That is exactly what happened; R.U.A. - Reflexo on Urban Art emerged.

We show a wide variety of productions, including long features, short features, animations, documentaries and fiction.
The Camera Mundo Film Festival provides talented young film makers from Latin America with the opportunity to show their creations to an international audience, and expand their network of contacts. We aim to offer these filmmakers the lit bit extra they need to develop into professional filmmakers. In addition, our Dutch viewers get to see a part of Latin America that is generally inaccessible to them, and learn about the challenges that youth in Latin America face.
Camera Mundo 2010 Edition
At the moment our Camera Mundo team is researching the possibilities for the 2010 edition of Camera Mundo. We are not clear about the location yet, and wont open the new subscriptions until February 2010. So don't worry, we will let you know as soon as the subscriptions are opened! What we do know is that the festival will take place in October 2010.
